😮 Arkham's 'Snitch-to-Earn' On-Chain Intel Exchange Causes a Stir!

Blockchain intelligence firm Arkham announced the first-ever "on-chain intelligence exchange" on July 10, igniting heated debate on Crypto Twitter. 

The exchange facilitates anonymous posting and acceptance of bounties for blockchain transaction information. 

Once a bounty is fulfilled, the payer gets exclusive access to the data for 90 days, after which it becomes public. 

Critics label it a "snitch-to-earn" system, voicing concerns about potential misuse and the safety of 'whales'. 🐳

I’m not sure if it applies here, but we all know what snitches get…right? 🗡️

Adding fuel to the fire, users sharing their waitlist links discovered their email addresses, encoded in basic BASE64, were easily exposed. 

Some Crypto Twitter users speculated that this was no oversight but an intentional "doxing."

🐳 Microstrategy Stock Rises 7% Amid Bitcoin Halving Predictions

Berenberg Capital Markets' recent projection on the Bitcoin halving sent MicroStrategy's share price soaring by 7%. 

The Hamburg-based investment bank suggests that the upcoming Bitcoin halving could catalyze a rally in MicroStrategy's stock (MSTR), setting a bullish price target of $430—an 18-month high.

Berenberg argues that MicroStrategy's significant Bitcoin holding, exceeding 150,000 BTC, plays a major role in the company's value. 

Yeah, I’d say that is obvious! 🤦

The bank anticipates that the halving will boost BTC's price, thereby influencing MSTR's stock due to a strong correlation (~0.90) between the two.

Reinforcing MSTR's bull case, Standard Chartered's recent report predicts Bitcoin could reach $130,000 by the end of 2023. 

Hmm…that would be a pleasant surprise. 🤪

The stock currently trades at $407.7, up 7% in the last 24 hours.

🌈 New Tool Transforms Bitcoin Private Key into Colors

Bitcoin developer Entero Positivo introduced "BIP39Colors," a novel tool that changes your Bitcoin private key into a sequence of colors. 

The open-source tool aims to make private keys less conspicuous and harder for thieves and authorities to seize.

What an exciting idea!

BIP39Colors turns a BIP39 mnemonic phrase, which aids in wallet recovery, into color codes and vice versa. 🍭

"You can convert your 12-word phrase to 8 colors or your 24-word phrase to 16 colors," explained Positivo. 

This approach effectively camouflages the key as a color palette that could be disguised as a home décor scheme or embedded in a website's CSS file.

These colors are denoted as hex color codes, representing any red, blue, and green blend. 

Unlike word-based systems, remembering the order of colors isn't necessary; it's only crucial that all colors are present. 

I think the weak link is still user error…so be careful! ⚠️

The developer believes this storage flexibility could hinder government seizures of Bitcoin, enabling safe distribution of the colors among trusted sources.
