🛡️ Shields, Cards, and Fools
Howdy Folks,
I hope you’re well. It feels a bit “no man’s land-ish” out there in the cryptosphere, doesn’t it?

🏰 “Stand With Crypto” Shouts Brian From Castle Coinbase
Whether it’s Colonel CZ, General Hoskinson, or Brigadier Buterin, we have some strong leaders who want crypto to be successful.Today it is the turn of Admiral Armstrong. 🎖️
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong backed an NFT project to signal "unity for the crypto community seeking sensible crypto policy" hours after the crypto exchange giant sued the SEC for clarity on digital asset regulation.
"The Stand with Crypto commemorative NFT is a symbol of unity for the crypto community seeking sensible crypto policy," the project's page on Zora states.

💳 Visa Announces Ambitious Web2 to Web3 Roadmap
When Web2 comes into Web3, that’s when mass adoption starts. I know, I’ve said it over and over, but it’s true (IMO). This is where it starts.
Visa is planning to dive deeper into Web3 through an ambitious crypto product. According to the company’s head of crypto, Cuy Sheffield, Visa is hiring experienced senior software engineers to help build scalable Web3 products. Sheffield noted that the new hirings would help drive mainstream adoption of public blockchain networks and stablecoin payments. (Where have you heard that before? 😉)
Visa is likely to use Polygon to scale its Ethereum smart contract capabilities in Web3 development. The company also announced that the software engineering candidates should have experience in writing ⌨️ smart contracts using the Solidity programming language, which is native to the Ethereum network.
Memecoin Scammer Doxed for Being Stupid!
Yep, this one deserves to be on an episode of America’s stupidest criminals. If you’re a crypto scammer scoundrel, anonymity is probably advised!
Crypto’s very own Sherlock Holmes, 🕵️ ZachXBT, has revealed the identity of an NFT meme-coin scammer from a tattoo of his wallet address on his back.
Yes, you read that right! 🙈
The scammer allegedly orchestrated a bogus meme-coin sale for the NFT collection Nakamigos.
According to ZachXBT, over 20 Nakamigos holders blindly sent money to a private address for the fake meme-coin presale.
ZachXBT also alleged that the scammer made off with 60 ETH worth around $110,000 and deleted his Twitter feed.
He said the scammer “could potentially be the creator of @NazareAmarga account,” aka Gabriel Marques, with 4.2 million followers.
DeFi investor and developer “@0xfoobar” commented:
“This is hands down the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
