š¤”Jokers, Fibbers, and Nerds
Good day to you, wonderful DailyCoiners,
Before we swan off into a weekend filled with cocktails and dreams, letās run the gauntlet of crypto news once more.
Ready? Letās go!
šØ Elon Just Likes Creating Havoc
šŗ Craig Wright Tries Trolling Again
š NFT Owners Still Collecting
Elon, DOGE, and Boredom!
Come on, if you had that much money, youād spend your life messing with peopleās heads, right?I know I would!
A few days ago, I told the story of the Dogecoin price pumping after potential Bond Villain, Musk, replaced the Twitter logo with the DOGE logo.Without any explanation, yesterday, the doggy disappeared and it was back to the little bird logo that Twitter is famous for. What happened? The DOGE price dropped like a stone.Either he does this kind of thing to profit from trading it, or heās just sat on the toilet and is bored!Iām going with the boredom scenario; what about you?
Craig Wright Trolling Bitcoinā¦Again
If you havenāt heard of him before, Craig Wright is an Australian Computer Scientist and businessman who has repeatedly claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto.
A claim that is widely considered by the media and crypto world to be, wellā¦Bull***t!
Yesterday, after news broke that an engineer at Apple had hidden a copy of the Bitcoin white paper on every computer sold since 2018 (my favorite story of the year so far!), Wright accused Apple of breaching copyright by including it in its macOS systems. This is like that one kid at school that always claimed his Dad was Superman, (you know, that kidš¤£), getting angry at the toughest kid in the school for wearing a Superman t-shirt!Yeah, that's not going to end well! This is exactly what will happen if Wright decides to actually sue Apple.Apparently, they are quite good at the whole legal battles thing and have a fair bit of cash in their pocket!
NFT Owners Still Collecting Despite Bear Market
Whether it's comic books, classic cars, or wine, tell people they are rare, and the geeks come running!
According to a survey done by CoinGecko, most NFT holders own 51 or more NFTs. Those who only hold a single NFT made up the smallest group. At least a quarter of all NFT holders (26.5%) said they were āavid collectorsā with 51 or more NFTs at the time of the survey. The report also noted that:āThis suggests that people rarely stop participating in NFTs after their first one.āTalk about stating the obvious! š¤£The report went on to state that due to Bitcoin Ordinals and Stamp NFTs, collecting NFTs may accelerate in 2023.Who's going to join me in the nerd corner?
