Elon Barks..Interesting or Shaggy Dog Story?

If you have enough money to buy Twitter as a playground, why not use it to create havoc?

That’s what Elon seems to be doing.

Yesterday (Monday), Twitter users noticed a furry face had taken over the platform’s blue bird logo and loading screen. Yep, the Dogecoin logo!

Obviously, Crypto-Twitter went insane, and $DOGE pumped by 26% over the following 24 hours. 

Was Elon hinting at a groundbreaking development for the crypto community or just yanking your chain?

If I know Elon (which I don’t), I presume the latter!

FIFA Launches AI Soccer Mobile Game

What do we say here about the mass adoption of crypto? When well-known brands join in, the masses follow.

Today, FIFA, soccer's world governing body, launched the open beta version of its World Cup AI League soccer strategy game that leverages artificial intelligence (AI). 

It is currently available on Android with an iOS launch planned “soon,” according to a statement. 

There are no famous faces in the game. The characters are cartoonish, “Pixar-style” brightly-colored creatures. Players act as team coaches and owners. 

Aaron McDonald, the co-founder of game developer Altered State Machine, said:

“Our mission is to lead casual gamers into the world of AI gaming in the metaverse.”

Watch out; this could be a big one!

Loki Vs. Hydra…Sorry; Do Kwon Vs. SEC 

Tricky one this. Neither of the parties come under the “good guy” umbrella!

Lawyers representing Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon are arguing that the SEC is acting outside its jurisdiction.

Court filings with the United States Supreme Court refer to the fact that Terraform Labs is a Singaporean company and Kwon is a resident of Singapore.

The court filing reads:

“Kwon is the CEO of Terraform, an open-source software development company with limited contact with the U.S. Most of the company’s business is essentially global, and it’s not specifically aimed at the United States.”

Even if this works for Kwon, it’s unlikely he will get off; the entire company is under investigation by authorities, including the Singaporean Police and several other countries!

Now, after typing the SEC and Do Kwon in the same section, I’m off to scrub my hands and eyes! 🤢
