😝 Cheeky Presidents and Honest Hackers
Hey, hey hey, fellow DailyCoiners,

Don’t fret, though; we’ve got you covered. Let’s dive in!

President Bukele Takes a Swipe at the U.S.
Forward-thinking President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador took to Twitter yesterday to promote his country.
The tweet featured a poster in vintage American style that listed reasons why living in the Central American nation is a better choice than living in the U.S
However, as is his style, he was definitely poking the bear by including “no fentanyl crisis,” “no shootings,” and “no lootings,” in the list!
Oh, and he also mentioned Bitcoin being legal tender.
Quite the compelling argument when you think about it. The only thing to decide is, when are we going?

Hacker Behind $200M Euler Attack Finds a Conscience
It’s not often we see a criminal suddenly find some morals, but that seems to be what has happened with “Jacob.”
The attacker behind Euler Finance’s $200 million exploit has been returning his ill-gotten gains over the last few days.Over the past 24 hours, he sent 7,000 ether and $10 million worth of dai stablecoins to the protocol. This came after sending over 51,000 ether to Euler over the weekend.Encoded in the transactions, he added messages including:“I didn't want to, but I messed with others' money, others' jobs, others' lives. I really f**d up. I'm sorry. I didn't mean all that. I really didn't f**g mean all that. Forgive me,” A total of over $120 million has been returned to the protocol, with the remaining amount promised asap.
Hmm, do we think he had a change of heart or started to panic that someone might be coming after him?
Disney Dumps Metaverse Team
Even media giant Disney is having to tighten its financial belt in these uncertain times.
As part of a larger “restructuring” plan, around 7,000 people were laid off, 50 of which were part of a team developing metaverse strategies.
I doubt they are turning their back on the metaverse idea, more that they, like everyone, are running short of cash.
The mouse must eat a lot of cheese!
When it comes to Web2 legacy companies moving to Web3, Disney won’t allow itself to be left behind.
