Only two days ago, we reported on XRP (Ripple’s native token) jumping 20% in response to lawyers issuing a letter to the SEC citing the SEC vs. Voyager Digital case…remember…the “SEC was too vague” thing.In true schoolyard tit-for-tat, the SEC has responded:“Defendants shamelessly mischaracterize the Voyager bankruptcy court’s statements and pluck choice phrases out of context in a misguided attempt to boost their unavailing fair notice defense,”…as I said…tit-for-tat!With the SEC now having a pop at Coinbase, it feels like they’ve got tired of toying with the new kid and have picked on someone who can hit back.Meanwhile, the whole schoolyard realizes just what a bully the SEC can be…

Greenpeace Shoots Own Foot in War on Bitcoin 

Regardless of your view on the climate or Bitcoin’s energy usage, one should always reserve the right to laugh when someone trips over their own feet……am I right?

Environmental group Greenpeace’s latest attack on Bitcoin’s climate impact was to commission a piece of artwork. However, this seems to have backfired. Some cheeky Bitcoiners have adopted the “Skull of Satoshi” as a pseudo-mascot.

On March 23, the climate activism group partnered with art activist Benjamin Von Wong for its ongoing “change the code, not the climate” campaign to convert Bitcoin’s consensus mechanism to a proof-of-stake (PoS) model.

At an impressive 11 feet (3.3 meters) tall, the “skull of Satoshi” features the Bitcoin logo and red laser eyes. It looks pretty badass to me!

Do Kwon To Face the Music.

Game on, Do Kwon! Authorities in Montenegro announced yesterday that “ONE OF THE WORLD'S MOST WANTED FUGITIVES” had been arrested in the Balkan country's capital city of Podgorica.

The charges laid against him are in relation to his alleged role in the collapse of the $40 billion Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) token and TerraClassicUSD stablecoin (USTC) last May.Kwon’s arrest comes after Interpol issued a “red notice.” which, yes, does sound very James Bond!A Red Notice is a “request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action”South Korea and the U.S. want a piece of the Do Kwon pie for multiple fraud charges.Kwon’s business partner Hon Chang Joon was also arrested on similar charges.
