Sun’s Swiss Shenanigans

On Sunday, Tron founder Justin Sun Tweeted that he fancied buying troubled financial big boy Credit Suisse and turning it into a “crypto-friendly” bank.

He went on to say:

"We can leverage the country's progressive policies and position ourselves as a leader in financial innovation."

Was he being serious or just reminding people of his existence? After all, he does have a history of outlandish offers that never get any further than his Twitter account.

In January, he said was willing to spend up to $1 billion for assets belonging to Digital Currency Group. 

It sounds like “pick me” boy behavior to me!

Hostile Llamas…Everywhere

Yesterday, a DeFiLlama developer, using the pseudonym 0xngmi, announced that the team who built the site was forking the decentralized finance analytics dashboard.

The beef started when the company's founders decided to launch a token without the support of employees or the dev team. They stated that DefiLlama was “undergoing a hostile takeover.”Why is the token launch such a problem?DefiLlama contributor, Tendeeno (another pseudonym), blamed the conflict on the project’s lack of revenue. They opposed the idea of a token launch, claiming it would be a blot on the project’s reputation as an impartial voice. Apart from being against the wishes of an alleged majority of the team, Tendeeno stated that a token launch would impede how the project runs.Apart from a few minor differences, both versions of the website look very similar.

Web2 Giant Microsoft Working on Web3 Wallet

Web2 Tech behemoth Microsoft is working on a new feature that enables users to send and receive crypto assets through its default web browser (Edge).

The non-custodial, built-in Ethereum crypto wallet will allow users to send and receive crypto and NFTs.

The wallet was discovered by “software detective”  Albacore recently, leading them to tweet screenshots late on Friday.

During the onboarding process, Microsoft gives the following message:

"This is a non-custodial wallet, meaning you are in complete control of your funds. We will not have access to your password and recovery key. It is embedded in Edge, making it easy to use without installing any extension."

Comments on the Twitter thread were wide and varied (as usual), but I’m convinced that this is what mass adoption will look like. What do you think?
