Binance Tax...protecting you from the taxman's wrath!

Regardless of which crypto tribe/s that you align yourself with, there's one thing common to all of us...doing your taxes sucks!!

You can't avoid the taxman!

Like him or loathe him, Binance big boss, 

 does a huge amount when it comes to making crypto easier for us regular folks.

Binance Tax

 is only in its early launch phase but claims that with a click of a button, you can "

import your Binance transactions into our calculator and obtain a simple yet comprehensive estimate of your tax obligations

."

With crypto tax laws evolving constantly, it makes for a handy offering from the largest centralized exchange in the world.

While other platforms charge a hefty fee for similar services, Binance Tax will be free! Initially only available in Canada and France, CZ and his crypto elves are working hard to bring more and more regions into the platform.

Do we like this? Or is it a case of a giant trying to take over the world?

I think anything that helps bring mass adoption to the crypto world, can only be a good thing.

YouTuber Doxes MMA fighter...Vigilante or Vilain?

YouTuber, Coffeezilla, who uncovers scams and doxes fraudsters, recently announced to his 2.5 million+ subscribers an upcoming video where he reveals that MMA fighter Dillon Danis agrees to promote a fake NFT project.

Why did Coffeezilla do it and why does it matter?

Do the names Logan Paul and Kim Kardashian ring any bells?

Yep, they've both

(amongst others)

been subject to legal proceedings for allegedly promoting scam crypto projects.

This kind of sting will show so-called "influencers" to read the fine print and actually do some research

(rather than just see dollar bills)

and think twice when being offered these "opportunities."

In any arena, there will always be bad actors; people out to make a quick buck by preying on the innocent, so outing these scammers is a noble act!

I like vigilanteism. It looks like we actually have batman on our side!

Is London Really the Most Crypto-Ready City in the World?

In research done by UK-based crypto tax specialists,

, London has emerged as the most crypto-ready city on the planet. Narrowly beating both Dubai and New York, the City of London

(the main financial and trading area of Greater London)

has 2,173 people actively working in crypto, across over 800 crypto-based companies.

Also, according to the report, "

London hosted the second highest number of crypto-related events and conferences throughout the year, helping attract and retain crypto companies

."

Other factors taken into account include:

• Quality of life score

• R&D spending as a percentage of GDP

• Number of crypto ATMs

• Capital gains tax rate

• Ownership of crypto in each country.

Rishi Sunak, ex-Chancellor of the Exchequer

(the main money dude)

turned Prime Minister, laid out plans in April 2022 to make the UK a “

global hub for crypto-asset technology and investment

.” 

I'm not sure how his plans to reduce the Capital gains tax allowance to £6,000 (from £12,300) in April this year will affect this though.

This news will shock the 89% of UK residents who still don't use crypto in any form.

I don't know about you, but I'd prefer somewhere, like Dubai or Zug, Switzerland (2nd and 6th) where there is 0% tax on crypto, but hey...that's just me!
