Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and boxing pro Floyd Mayweather Jr. are co-defendants in a class action complaint filed in Los Angeles federal court. The case – Huegerich v. Gentile, 22-cv-00163, U.S. District Court, Central District of California (Los Angeles) – alleges that the pair duped investors by promoting a dodgy cryptocurrency called EthereumMax (EMAX).

Hong Kong Released Crypto-Asset Regulatory Plan

Hong Kong’s Monetary Authority (HKMA) released a discussion paper on crypto-asset and stablecoin regulation that will be implemented by 2024.The rapid growth and adoption of cryptocurrencies require ruling, so it does not bring the financial system at risk, HKMA wrote. The regulation will help to improve Hong Kong’s financial stability.
