💰🚫 Four stablecoin issuers, including Tether, have blacklisted multiple wallets linked to the North Korean hacking group, Lazarus, suspected of laundering millions. Blockchain detective ZachXBT reported a total of $6.98 million in blacklisted and frozen funds, stemming from a $200 million laundering operation across 25 crypto hacks since 2020.

However, Circle faced criticism for delaying their action by over four months, with ZachXBT accusing them of prioritizing profits over security.

🚨📉 Cyber Capital founder Justin Bons has accused Tether of being a "bigger scam" than FTX and Bernie Madoff combined, claiming the stablecoin issuer has $118 billion in collateral without proof. Bons asserted Tether has never undergone a true audit and criticized their transparency.

Despite these serious allegations, Tether maintains that it is "fully transparent" and committed to combating crypto-related crimes.

📈🌍 Robinhood has added XRP to its supported digital currencies, though it's currently available only to European users. This inclusion happens amidst ongoing regulatory challenges for Ripple Labs, with a recent court settlement allowing XRP to see a slight market uptick of 1.3%.

The move suggests a potential shift in the crypto landscape, even as U.S. users await access.
